Our Goal
Our goal is to rehome as many dogs as possible and to match them to their perfect home.
When a dog arrives in our care, they are carefully assessed by a vet and a member of Edinburgh Samoyed Rescue so we can give them any special care they require.
After the assessment period, they will go up for rehoming, provided there aren’t any veterinary or behavioral issues that we need to address. Their profile will appear on Edinburgh Samoyed Rescue’s website (unless we already have a suitable owner on our waiting list ready to adopt) and we will start our search to find them a new loving home. We aim to provide loving new homes for as many dogs as we possibly can.
The dogs come from many different backgrounds but all have the same basic need - that of a loving home where they will be cared for and no longer live in fear, hunger, or neglect.
While no one likes to think about it the sad reality is that due to overcrowding in dog shelters, many unwanted dogs are euthanized every year. By opting to adopt a dog, you are not only enriching your own life but you are saving a dog’s life.
If you are unable to adopt, then please consider supporting our work it is Free
We receive no financial support yet the cost of caring for dogs is considerable and increases every year.
